Unlike gorillas, golden monkeys are fast-moving and gregarious, creating a completely different but equally enchanting primate encounter. In the afternoon, visit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International research centre — named for the legendary American primatologist whose life and work inspired the global conservation movement that has helped Rwanda’s gorilla population more than double in three decades.
